It was startled and blasted a quick fireball at them, nevertheless, the attack was too huge that Amadeus knew that the base mode couldn't cover everyone, if he doesn't stop it, they will all die, but he jumped in front and readied himself to catch the attack, his thoughts of needing a bigger protection and his prior exposure to Cor's unique abilities mixed in that instant and the hexmail registered those and adapted appropriately, it miraculously withstood the attack and overcharged itself, expanding in size, gained outrageous weight and became even more tougher, making it possible to block the attack completely, baran knew he messed up, but he quickly rolled his dice and casted a spell, this time it was a teleportation spell, they instantly blinked out before the dragon could fully prepared itself to kill them they didn't have a smooth landing, but it was better than facing another attack from the dragon. Amadeus couldn't figure out how to activate this mode again for some time, but This made amadeus realize that there is more to the hexmail that his friend gifted him, maybe if he trained enough, he can unlock all the other secrets his left hand holds, maybe realizing its full potential is the key for him to be able to reach out and grab his ultimate goal.
